Launched in October 2013, the Jamie Kirk Hahn Foundation honors Jamie Kirk Hahn, who was murdered in the spring of 2013. Jamie was a remarkable young woman of great promise. She worked for an array of political campaigns, nonprofit organizations, and individuals who sought to make a difference. She loved to garden, cook, adopt animals, and spend time with her family - both her "born" family and her "chosen" family as she would say.
Jamie and her husband, Nation Hahn, met while working in politics, fell in love, and were married in the spring of 2009. Nation, Jamie's parents, and a group of friends came together to launch the organization on Jamie's 30th birthday.
Jamie Kirk Hahn lived an incredible life. Her work, her values, and her inspiration live on through the Jamie Kirk Hahn Foundation.
